I'm new at this ! How do I transfer photos that are on iphone 3 to iphone 4? I have synced iphone 3 to icloud and now have iphone 4 in service. I do not want to download entire photo library to iphone 4.

Are these photos in the Camera Roll or the Photo Albums app? In either case how would you expect them to get to the iPhone 4 if you don't copy them there?
you could sync with icloud and all would come over, or sync the pictures to your computer then put the ones you want on your new iphone
