car bluetooth won't read contacts on iphone

Since I upgraded to OS 5.0 my Ford Escape bluetooth won't read any of the contacts that are on my iphone contact directory. It responds that the caller is unavailable. Help!!!

iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1

I wanted to add two things, in the resent pass it always worked and now the OS is 6.0.1
