Can you connect a console to a thunderbolt desplay

Hi I am thinking about getting a mac pro and thunderbolt desplay (if the 2011-2012 model is thunderbolt enabled) and was wondering would you be able to connect a Xbox 360 to the thunderbolt desplay whilst the desplay is connected to a mac pro ( think I might need a HDMI adapter to connect it to the thunderbolt port if one exists) as well as this how many thundebolt ports does th desplay come with? Thanks for feedback

The short answer is yes. You would need a dual link adaptor (1 thunderbolt to 2 hdmi). You would have to either buy yet another adaptor to turn the HDMI into a thunderbolt but i would recommend just using the hdmi port on the Mac Pro. The thunderbolt display has 3 usb, 1, FireWire 800, 1 thunderbolt and 1 gigabit ethernet port on it. Hope this helps.
