Taking way too long to restore. My ipod has been in restore for well over 12 hours now and still has 7 hours to go. Is this normal for restoring a ipod 4th Gen.? Please let me know.

when u mean restore u mean downloading the software or putting it in your ipod?
Restore content from my computer via Itunes to the ipod. Tryed to update the ipod software and it made me go through a restore first.
cancel and try again. even with a slow pc, it should take at max 2 hours
did you restore it as knew?
it can be a glitch in the software so try to restore as knew

What specificly does your iPod show up? this could just be a iTunes error. It should never restore first if you have stuff on it already. If myou havent downloaded the iPod update, press update only when plugging in your ipod.
