Setting up bellnet.ca

My Email acount, bellnet.ca won't send. Checked all settings but still won't work. HELP!

iPad 2, iOS 5.0.1

I had this issue too with Bell bellnet.ca 'business' email.


After calling their tech support, I was able to get it working with the following settings:


POP: pop.bellnet.ca / no ssl / port 110

SMTP: smtpa.bellnet.ca / ssl / port 465


They couldn't guarantee that this would work on other non-Bell connections, but since it is authenticated SMTP it should work.
