When I unplug my iPad2 from charger, goes dead. Bad battery?
Help! I have an iPad2 which my boss bought for me (reconditioned.) I have had no problems with it prior to the past few days, batterly has been great as it has lasted all day with Wi-Fi turned on and fairly constant use. Mid last week, I was "playing" with the settings and turned auto lock to "never." It stayed on all night and eventually drained the battery. It was completely dead when I woke up the next morning.
I pluged it in and let it charge for a few hours. When I came back it was at 1%, would turn on for a 4-5 seconds, and then shut down. I checked my wall charger (knockoff) and it was a 5w charger. I went out and bought an Apple iPad charger, with new cable, plugged it in and it has been charging ULTRA slow. 4 days later, it is only at 22% and has actually been stuck at 22% for the past 24 hours!
The weird part of this is that when I unplug from the mini connector, the iPad shuts down completely and immediately. It does not matter if I disconnect it from the mini connector, or unplug from the charger, it simply goes dead. I can't turn it on (It should run at 22%, correct?) I can not use the "Hold power and home button" trick, it will not turn on.
I did a complete restore with no changes...
So, I don't know if it is a battery issue, a mini-connector issue, or just a piece of junk (which is why I would never buy a used one, but like I said, my boss bought it for me so I can't complain too much!)
Thoughts, Ideas, comments?
Thanks in advance!
