a cab driver stole my phone and wallet and the company can't track him down please help me on what to do..i turned the find my iphone but so far is either off or he took the sim card out, please advise on what to do
Call the police. Change your passwords. Report the theft to your carrier. Some carriers can blacklist lost/stolen phones. Go get a new phone. There's not much else you can do.
what do you mean they can't track him down? how did he steal it? is he coming to work again or did he give up his job to rob you? i'm sorry but this sounds fishy. at worst you can go sit at the taxi company until he shows up and basically tell him to return your stuff or he won't end up well. did you report it to the police? i mean forget about the phone, the police should help you because of your wallet. what your saying does not make sense. how did he rob you to begin with? someone tries to rob me i'll destroy them.
How are you sure that the cab driver 'stole' your phone and wallet? Could it not be possible that the next fare found them? You were not stolen from. You left/forgot your property in the back seat of a cab. Change your passwords on all the applications you were accessing on the phone and report your loss to your local police.
Hello, I am positivethe driver has my phone and wallet because I handed to him. Upon arrival at myhouse I proceeded to pay with my debit card and he said the machine wasn’tworking, so I said okay hold my stuff and I’m going to go in my house to see ifmy wife has any cash on her, SHE did not! So I came back out and asked him totake me to the bank to get money and he said he couldn’t for whatever reasonand said that he would keep my stuff and to just go to the taxi station thenext day and pay my fare and my stuff would be waiting for me at thestation. Well the next day I went to thestation to pay and asked for my stuff and there was no record of any trip to myhouse. I said the driver ran the meterand he took my stuff and they said maybe he would come in later for the nightshift. The dispatch sent a message to all the cabs stating I was there to paythe fare and pick up my stuff!!! I have been calling the company sinceSaturday, I went to talk to the owner and he said he would also look into itbut with out a cab number they can’t track him and I said bull!!! The find myIPhone is not doing anything and I am assuming he either took the SIM out or isstill shut off but now is Tuesday and by now I am assuming I am not getting mywallet or phone back. I went to the police station and made a report but theyare useless and won’t do anything. Ialso contacted the a representative of the city and he said he would look intoit and said that the cabs have a GPS that will pinpoint the trip to my housebut there he said I am running the chance of the cab driver denying everythingand blah blah, I said I understand that it would be my word against the driverbut after all the messages the cab company has sent to all the drivers and hestill has not come forward then what does that tell him??? So I have alreadycome to the conclusion that I am not getting my phone back but I want mywallet, he knows where I live he can come and drop it off in the mailbox but heWON’T…so I will still do what I can, cause now I’m on a mission to find out whothis person is and do whatever I can to either get him fired or embarrassed. I am not violent so don’t misinterpret mywords. I just can’t let this go and havea worker of the city take advantage of the public like that and let him go onwith his day like nothing happened. Iswear that if I didn’t have a job to go to I would literally go sit at the stationnight and day to wait for this driver. PS I also told the company that I can recognize him if they show me apicture and they said they can release that information…So I’ve been running incircles!!! An Apple is useless, once a phone is reported stolen or lost itshould have a feature for the phone to explode if some one else tries to useit, LOL..well maybe not explode but at least not function at all!!!!
