I can't sign into my iCloud on my iPad

On your iPad tap Settings > iCloud to access those setttings.

To access your iCloud account on the two computers, on Safari go to iCloud.com and login.

I have this same issue with my iPad. I went to Settings (as you suggested and I have done several times). I have everything I want set for iCloud (everything except Photo Stream & Storage/Backup); and everything I want is syncing. Still when I go to iCloud (on my iPad) via Safari, the 'welcome, activate iCloud on this device' comes up, even when I input the web address that shows on Safari on my Mac. What to do?

I have the same problem. iCloud is set up on all my other units, but it won't set up on this (iPad). I have gone through the set up proceedure, it is "on", but I keep getting the 'welcome, activate iCloud on this device'.

Apple's intention is that you use the iPad apps (Mail, Calendar, Contacts, ...) rather than the iCloud web site in Safari.

If the Calendar had a 'floating' time option on the iPad I might not mind that. But the way the Calendar works (on all devices) crossing time zones is a royal pain. So periodically I need to go to Calendar in iCloud to change the time zone on all entries to floating. Actually I would prefer that Apple correct this issue more than having access to iCloud on my iPad. In the meantime I can't believe Apple restricts access to iCloud via Safari on the iPad.

Any help on this?

OK, that's a fair comment. I hadn't noticed the lack because I don't travel that much these days, and all my events are in fixed time zones when I do.

Have you made a formal feature request to Apple?

I have done all of your suggestions many times. Shut down go again. It use to work and now zero. I believe it stopped with updates...how else could this happen?

I posted tonight the same issues. It use to work and now my iphone and ipad default to setup. I received suggestions but replied I have done them all. This is certainly frustrating.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Use the apps and not go to icloud. Sorry but the apps do not give me the option to download to my computer or to a portable hard drive and certainly the apps do not let you send information or multiple pictures to a non apple user as the icloud can. Besides, if they advertise you can access the cloud from all your devices then perform what you say it will do. As I said in another post, it use to work. Or better yet, get us an app to go to icloud!!!!!

I have wasted so much of my time trying to get anywhere with this issue that I can't now try and find out where or how to make a formal complaint which I would love to do since their upgrades stopped what once worked. Do you have an answer to this?
