Quicken "Unable to load file" VMWare Fusion

I've installed Quicken 2007 in a Snow Leopard installed in VMWare Fusion 4.1. But when I try to load the file I've been using I get a message "Unable to load file." I've added the extension qtfm. If I don't add the extension Quicken sees the "file" as a folder, so won't open it that way either.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm still running Snow Leopard, but want to run Lion and am trying this before upgrading.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

I had this problem tonight, too.

The solution:

Zip the file in Lion, transfer into the Snow Leopard machine, unzip from within Snow Leopard....and it should work.
