switch-off Time-Machine in your MacOS' prefs ...
and don't hesitate to use the forum's Search feature ... the -49-bug was discusssed ad nauseam ... 😉
you mean if i switch of time machine i can export and close imovie projects?
this should be the solution....and nothing else?
well if this is so....i'd be very happy!
unfortunately i'm not infront of my mac...so i can't try it right away...but i'll do later!
...i saw the other entries too, but too late. it my first time at this forum...so i'm also thankful for those hints :-)

the 'other' solution is some Terminal hack to switch-off an internal feature of TimeMachine, which since vers. MacOsX10.7 creates this bug ...
the quick ' n easy solution is to switch-off TM for the time you're exporting ....
wow...really...I can't believe, it's really working!
Thank's a lot for your hint...your're my center for apple knowledge from now on ;-)
thanks
cheers

lost my 'title' being #1 at the iMovie boards quiet a while to honorable forum member appleman1958, who knows ALL about this product.-
.... I meanwhile deserted to FCPX and Motion5 .... 😉
And now you can spread your knowledge and humor on those Discussion Boards as well. everybody wins! 😁

or should I ask this question in a different spot?
Thanks
