Windows and IPhone contacts

Don't lose your contacts again. this is a quick & easy way to insure you don't lose your contacts. You can also use this method to quickly change your contacts to include or exclude. Locate your C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup Folder ( W7) (May need to reset Security). Copy the latest backup and paste it to a folder on your desktop or separate drive. If creating different lists of contacts make multiple folders and name them appropriately. Open Itunes go to Edit Preferences Devices and check prevent syncing aut. Now go to C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup Folder and delete all backups. If your making multiple contact folders, edit your contacts on the Iphone open Itunes and right click your device and Back up. Open your Backup folder and copy paste the backup to the appropriate folder. To restore or change your contacts on your IPhone simply delete any backups AppData as above then copy paste the appropriate backup from your named folder to C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup Folder This should be the only entry. Now open Itunes right click your device and choose restore from backup. You can now reset Security and Itunes Prefs till next time.
