How do you add weather and stocks to the swipe down menu?

The Weather and Stocks apps are not included on the iPad

Do you know why not?

In settings, notification center.

Got the stock, but still no weather.

Make sure you have Location Services turned on for Weather under Settings->Privacy->Location Services->Weather.

Yahoo has a really good weather app. Or go to Yahoo>weather>bookmark as favorite and view the weather on your browser.

Those apps have never been included on iPads. But there are numerous apps in the App Store and some of those will alert you to dangerous weather.
