Bought used MacBook Pro with Lion and can't format it.

Hello!

So I recently bought a used MacBook Pro with Lion installed from eBay and everything was fine and dandy. But now I want to format my harddrive but everytime I go to reinstall Lion it asks me for the AppleID that bought it. Problem is, it was the previous owner of the laptop. I have no problem purchasing it again for myself but the problem is I can't because it just says installed in the app store... So what can I do?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

You have to install Snow Leopard 10.6.8 in order to purchase Lion and download it from the App Store. You can purchase Snow Leopard at any Apple Store or the Online Store for $29.00.
