I just synced my Ipad to Itunes and Downloaded all of my previously purchased apps from my Itouch. Now when I go to open the apps they open as the same screen size of my itouch. It gives me the option of stretching it but the picture is awful. Do I need to repurchase them or is there an update I can do. Help

I was wrong. Just checked and yes, if you want the iPad version, you do have to buy them......ooops.
This means the apps on your ipad are iphone/ipod apps. Look on the app store on your ipad for the ipad versions of the apps or if the little plus is in the buy or free logo in the app store it means that app works for both.
The bottom line and I think what you really want to know is - yes you will have to purchase the iPad version if you want the "full screen" non pixelated apps.
Any app that shows the + sign next to it is a universal app and is optimized and will work on either device. iPad apps are usually listed as HD.
They are apps for the iPod touch. they can work on iPad but in smaller resolution. iPad apps at iPad resolution are specific to the iPad.
Does that mean I have to re pay for the ones I have purchased UGH
