I just got an ipod for my nephew and I was wondering if I can downloan angry birds for the 2nd generation.

How? It tells me the ios needs to be at least 3.0. How do I update the ios?
Connect your iPod to iTunes. On the Summary page check for updates, if it doesn't already show you that one is available.
It keeps telling me I have the updated version but angry birds and other apps dont work.
You need update your ipod for ITunes.
Your first statement said you can't download it, tis statement says the apps don't work. Please be clearer.

If your iPod touch, 2nd generation is up to date, you're on iOS 4, which is more than enough to be ompatile with Angry Birds' minimum requirements for iOS 3.
Make sure you trying to buy the iPhone/iPod touch version, not the iPad version.
"The app "angry birds" was not installed on the ipod because it requires a newer version of Ipod Software.
