Slow 3g internet on Iphone 4s

What carrier are you on and where are you located? The phone is not the problem, it's the carrier. 3G speeds can fluctuate greatly from block to block in my experience. There's not really anything tou can do but complain to your carrier. They love to take our money, but hate upgrading their capacity. I've found that it's faster in the New York suburbs than in the actual city. The speeds in Europe are still much better than what we get in the US.

I'm having the same issue, which just started within the past few days. 3G is unusable due to the slowness. I've been in areas which I frequent every day, which USED to have great speed, and now are practically dead---so it's not location. My phone is iPhone 4s, AT&T---so it's not just Verizon and their service. Everything is fine in WiFi. I've done everything except restore the phone. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled apps like FaceBook or Words With Friends to see if it was issues with the apps, but that was unsuccessful.

Here is something strange-----I seem to be able to stream iHeart Radio just fine, but nothing else that would use an internet connection. It says 3G at the top of the phone, and the spinning circle is beside it, but Face Book for example say "No Internet Connection"

I have the same problem on a Iphone 4.Internet have started to go on and off 2 days ago.i'm with Rogers and they are saying that everything is fine on their side.

Same prblem here in germany. Carrier: vodafone. Even after i switched my 4s because of another reason i still got the 3G connection problem. the weird thing is its only @ my worklplace, but here its consistant. many users in germany have the same issue
