Where are the iMovie Sound Effects stored?

Hello,

I'm trying to find the audio files that come with iMovie so that i can use GarageBand to mix a multitrack down to one track for import into iMovie.

I've done a Spotligh search, but i get no results. Isn't spotlight supposed to find everything?

jmac1163,

They are inside the application bundle.

Control-click (or right-click) on the iMovie applicaiton in the Finder and choose Show Package Contents.

Then look inside the Resources folder for the Sound Effects folder.

You might also want to take a look at iLife '06. iMovie and GarageBand are much better integrated. You can actually bring you movie right into GarageBand.
