iphone 4 is not pairing with bose bluetooth

Most Bluetooth devcices is required to be put IN Discovery mode to connect to other Bluetooth mode Read the manual of the Bluetooth device you wish to connect

I had the same problem and jsut found the fix... check the trouble shooting instructions heading number 3... need to hold the call and - buttons to clear first and then reset like originally. Its right in the manual. Good Luck!

I had my iPhone 4S paired withe Bose SoundLink just fine, and then my wife has been using the Bose via Aux connection to her non-bluetooth laptop.

Then my iPhone wouldn't pair again.

Held mute button on Bose for 10 sec to do factory rest.

iPhone paired just fine again.

u really helped me fix this problem. Today was my last day of warranty and still tech support guy said that my warranty has expired and that i need to pay 30 dollars for troubleshooting.

None of these worked for me, so in case anyone else is looking....what did work for me was to hold down the bluetooth button on the Soundlink for 3-4 seconds. The Soundlink finally showed up on my iPhone, and I was able to pair them 🙂

I didn't have any problem pairing my Bose Bluetooth series 2 headset, but when I pushed the "Answer" button on the headset, it activated Siri. If I switched her off, it activated the Voice Command. So, I got on with an Apple tech and he had me "Reset All Settings". It was a slight pain since I had to re enter passwords, etc. but now IT WORKS!! Thanks to Apple Tech, just thought I'd pass this on.😉

This worked on my Sounddock, too. Thank you ... I spent HOURS searching for a fix on this today!
