my friend got 10% discount as crew member, why 6% for me?

i am a seaman working for royal carribean cruise lines, my colleague working with me got 10% discount on whatever he bought from apple store, i am planning to buy 2 ipod touch(8gb & 64gb) why they are NOT giving me 10% rather than 6%? thank you
