Corrupted Photos

Recently my iPhone photo's became corrupted. Earlier today my iPhone seemed to be working fine. I took photos for work, then when I got to my office and tried to download them, the automatic downloader (not iTunes) said I didn't have any photos on my iPhone. I've used this downloader many times to download photo's off my iPhone. It's a PC. I opened up the camera roll and sure enough, there were photo's on there. Old ones and the new ones I'd taen earlier today. But a bunch of the photo thumbs were blacked out and when I tap on them to view the picture closer it's all black. The blacked out photo's are randomly in the middle of my camera roll, but all the pictures taken AFTER the blacked out photo's, i.e., the photos I'd taken earlier today, were very grainy and pixelated. No I'm at home trying to download it with iTunes, but iTunes isn't showing any photo's on my iPhone, even though I can see them on there. Also, during my trouble shooting I turned on the camera and got a black screen. I tried taking photo's with it, but nothing was happening. I tried the facetime camera and the same thing occured. I exited out and back in a few times and the same thing happened, then randomly it started working again. I powered down my iPhone, but that didn't solve anything.

Help, what do I do?

iPhone 4, iOS 5
