Question

My iPad 2 just died.

My iPad 2 just died. I was using an app to compress videos and it crashed. I exited the program but the screen went blank and now I can't even turn it on. There was plenty of battery time. Any ideas?

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

If it has powered down and will not power up holding the sleep/power button for a few seconds, have you tried a reset by holding both the sleep/power button and home button and does the apple logo appear?
