10.7.2 still puts an can not connect error to smb server

Under Snow Leopard I had a Windows Home Server that my mac connected to via SMB. Just before I upgraded to Lion I deprecated the server, and removed it from finder. Since Upgrade I keep getting the "There was a problem connecting to the server "XXXXX". error, and when I use Finder->Go->Connect to server

The server names show up there, when I select them and click remove, the error shows up and the server is still in the favorites box.

I just want the fool error to go away, as it will post a box every couple of minutes and I can't get rid of them, but they eat memory over time.
