My ISP changed my password and now Mail keeps rejecting password

Whist my Apple iTouch receives emails to a additional mail address I have, my MacBook keeps giving me the error message to enter password which it rejects! My ISP temporary changed my password and knocked out all my home email accounts! I managed to get into Utils the Keychains and made sure all had the correct password entered. Now just one is refusing to download. Please can anyone help on either Network settings or Airport or whichever is the correct route? OSX V10.6

It would make my Christmas wish come true as my ISP is useless!!

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Hi Philip

Sadly it does not work! I have carefully gone through every account setting, followed all advised settings and double checked which is SO frustrating. I therefore went into Utilities and again checked all the passwords by running the Keychain repair (which says there are no conflicts). I even deleted the account and then re-installed all settings. Every time I log in and download Manually, I get the message to confirm password which is rejected, Help!!
