Can't connect to iTunes Match - error 5002

Good morning-

I'm on a MBP, 10.7.2, with iTunes 10.5.1.

I've been having issues connecting to iTunes Match, so I went into the Store menu and turned off iTunes Match. I then quit iTunes, re-opened it and went back and Turned On iTunes Match. I got the prompt to add my computer, entered my password, but nothing...I eventually get an error 5002.

The funny thing is I'm able to access the iTunes store, my account, etc. If I go back to Store and try iTunes Match, I don't get an option to add the computer. It's greyed out.

I've also tried signing into and out of my iTunes account. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks.

I'm A-OK with a Win7 (32-bit) system and also a Snow Leopard system, both running 10.5.1 (42). There were definitely issues last night at ~8PM ET, but so far today I've been good (crosses fingers).

I'm doing Match uploads piecemeal, so I've been uploading on and off all day. EDIT: I just removed / added Match back on my Win7 system, and it worked. Maybe Apple is doing ongoing ID maintenance and is knocking off certain ID's at a time? Not sure but if you call Apple support (like I did last night) they'll probably just tell you to keep trying and call back in 24 hours. 😟

4002 error as well.

Haven't had an outage in awhile, so I guess we were about due. Maybe they're fixing all our Matching / explicit song issues this evening? 😝
