ichat "who's online" directory on a website

Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to set-up an iChat Server that will allow people who are not a part of the network to interact with people who are online and ready to chat. Any examples of websites doing something like this would be greatly appreciated.

iChat is a XMPP compliant server; so, depending on the webserver tecnology you use, you should look for an XMPP framework for your webserver.

For example this uses xmpp with php and javascript.

Hope i set you to the right path. Good luck.
