I backed up my iPod Touch 3 before doing the update...all of a sudden my audiobook purchased, from iTunes is GONE...cannot find it anywhere. Which is especially irritating because I was almost done and it was a good book. I will not pay another $20 to listen to the last 3 hours when I have already paid. Any help is appreciated...

Audio books and some other things like music and apps are not included in the backup that iTunes makes. Thos must be in your iTunes libray to be synced to the iPod during a later stage of the backup.
I cannot find Audio books anywhere! How would I know if it is in my iTune's library? So frustrating!
I meant I can't find them in my iTunes or on my iPod, I know I can buy them, because I did buy this one from iTunes. now I buy from Audible...much better as they stay in my account forever but I wanna finish this book...
For the Audible.com books, just go to their site and redownload them. You can also use their app and it will show all your purchases for Audible.com.
yup, that's why I said I would only use Audible from now on, but I want the one I purchased from iTunes!! Help anyone?

In that case there is no good way for a redownload because of copyright issues. You can always contact iTunes and explain what happened and they may allow a redownload.
