IPad 2 printer compatibilty

I would like to know if the cannon ip 100 mobile printer and the HP officejet 100 mobile printer will work with the I pad 2 operating system io5? Is there any mobile printers that will work with the iPad 2 via bluetooth technology?

iPad 2, iOS 5

I know of no way to print via Bluetooth; that's not supported in the Bluetooth profiles Apple included in iOS. Printing from an iOS device is via WiFi. For a list of printers that support AirPrint, the native printing system in iOS, see:

Some printer manufacturers such as HP offer printing apps through the iTunes Store that may support additional printers.

The problem I have with that, is that the I Pad 2 has Bluetooth and if the wireless keyboard can work via bluetooth and the HP officejet 100 and the cannon ip 100 also has Bluetooth why can it not work? According the information that was giving on the website it was said that it was compatible with MAC IOS, but it did not state it will work with IOS5 and that is the issue that I am having with the mobile printers the compatibility with Apple software. I am just looking for a mobile printer that is compatible with IOS5. I also did some research on a printing application known as print central on I tunes and read the reviews, but no said that it will work with IOS 5.

Please provide a link to the page where the manufacture made this claim, so that we may understand the statement better.

When I am on Amazon.com and the name of the printers are HP officejet 100 mobile printer and Canon Pixma ip 100 mobile photo printer. When you click on the two printers it gives you the information about the compatibility. I just want to know if either of these two printers are compatible with the I Pad 2. They both have Bluetooth technology, but the compatibility with IOS

5 is the issue. If there is any mobile printers that I can use while I am overseas will greatly appreciated.

You may want to contact HP and discuss iPrint. Ask if the printer can be configured with out a router.

"HP iPrint Photo is a free downloadable mobile app that allows you to capture and edit photos, and wirelessly print photos, PDF and text files directly from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to HP Inkjet printers connected to a local wireless (WiFi) network."

No. Apple has not provided a bluetooth print driver. Nor do they allow you to load a driver.

I think you saw Mac OS X. Mac OS X run on Apple's line of laptops & desktops. Ios runs on the iPad.
