I cannot connect to keynote remote

Were you on the same network both times you tried to use it? Mine connect fine at home but not at work... Which, of course is where I'd like to use it... Ugh. I'm thinking it's a network issue as well as a keynote app issue... I've seen some workarounds but none have worked for me...I'll be anxious to hear of an actual fix!

Same issue with me, April 10th 2012 purchased Keynote remote app on iphone 3GS, attempted to connect via home net and again via bluetooth, several times, using different keycodes each time (as per instructions) and it will not connect. Did you ever figure it out? I'm in the midst of talking to Apple support, but the guy on at Apple says he's "unfamiliar with that app" so I'm not holding my breath for a useful answer....

Nope, he didn't help, and all I can say is: don't buy the Keynote Remote App. 99 cents isn't much to lose but I've spent about an hour on this, so at my billing rate that would be somewhat more than 99 cents for my time.

I had the same problem. The way i fixed this is that i made a personal hotspot with my iphone and got my macbook to connect to my iphone's internet. It then worked fine when i wanted to create a link.

To make a personal hotspot, its in settings, generaly, network, and at the bottom is has personal hotspot. Then just follow the instructions.

This is the only way i found out how to do it.
