Flash player 11.1 hack on PowerPC

If you got it down to a science how to work it, we can probably post it as a user tip for people needing Flash on pre-Intel Macs. Would you like to write a tip of how to do it?

I have Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 installed.

in Safari 5.0.6 I can watch any Flash Video except from the BBC web site, but in TenFourFoxG5 (the PPC version of Firefox) I can also watch any Flash videos including those on the BBC web site.

Installing the 11.1 version from your link on YouTube and following the instructions made no difference to that.

Also on version 8.0 of TenFourFox, or only in 3.6.24? I still run into some unplayable sites with 8.0.

I am using Firefox (3.6.24) and the most recent PPC Flash (not the hacked one) and I can watch the NYT video once I disable several layers of NoScript protection (gave permisson to all once only to have it reload and had to give permission again to a new set) and Flashblock.

So you can see videos I can't, and I can see videos you can't?

Despite the fact that we (as far as I can tell) have the same software? Mystifying!

Don't get any messages or videos on NYT home page in either.

Can view the planet one in Safari 4.0.4, but not TFF 5.0.
