Flash player 11.1 hack on PowerPC

We all hate Flash but wanted to share something I recently came across. This guy hacked the flash plugin to make websites like Facebook and CNN and Hulu think they are seeing the 11.1 player. I've tried it out (in Omniweb, trying to keep TenFourFox flash free) and can confirm they all work and have no error messages. This really makes you wonder what if any "new features" Adobe has added to flash since they decided to stop supporting PPC. The download is half the size of the 10.1 player, and even on a G4 / 450mhz Powermac, videos on YouTube are playing without stutter (on 240p.)

I have Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 installed.

in Safari 5.0.6 I can watch any Flash Video except from the BBC web site, but in TenFourFoxG5 (the PPC version of Firefox) I can also watch any Flash videos including those on the BBC web site.

Installing the 11.1 version from your link on YouTube and following the instructions made no difference to that.

Ah, but now we can look forward to a completely Flash-free wen in the near future:

All i can say is not soon enough!
