Classic Mac OSIf you got it down to a science how to work it, we can probably post it as a user tip for people needing Flash on pre-Intel Macs. Would you like to write a tip of how to do it?

Dec 11, 2011 3:50 PM in response to applefan_since1998by Klaus1,I have Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 installed.
in Safari 5.0.6 I can watch any Flash Video except from the BBC web site, but in TenFourFoxG5 (the PPC version of Firefox) I can also watch any Flash videos including those on the BBC web site.
Installing the 11.1 version from your link on YouTube and following the instructions made no difference to that.

Also on version 8.0 of TenFourFox, or only in 3.6.24? I still run into some unplayable sites with 8.0.

Ah, but now we can look forward to a completely Flash-free wen in the near future:
Adobe Ends Development of Flash On Mobile Browsers
larry bagina writes
"Jason Perlow of ZDNet is reporting that Adobe will stop developing Flash for mobile browsers and focus on AIR and HTML5 tools. I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if 750 voices screamed out in terror and were laid off. But that noise was overshadowed by everybody else celebrating."
All i can say is not soon enough!

Adobe Flash Meets Its End
It's been clear for a few years now that unless mobile Flash's performance and reliability improved, it was a goner; that day has now come, and soon, desktop Flash will soon follow.

Dec 12, 2011 6:45 AM in response to Klaus1by Ramón G Castañeda,Thank you, Klaus. Would you mind checking whether you can see the video on the front page og the NY Times? http://www.nytimes.com/
I get the customary message about updating Flash, even though I'm not even clicking on the video:
Thanks in advance.

Dec 12, 2011 6:59 AM in response to Ramón G Castañedaby Klaus1,No, not in either Safari nor TenFourFoxG5, nor do I get any other message than I am not a digital subscriber!
But I can see this in both browsers:
Can you?

Dec 12, 2011 3:45 PM in response to Ramón G Castañedaby Klaus1,So you can see videos I can't, and I can see videos you can't?
Despite the fact that we (as far as I can tell) have the same software? Mystifying!
