replace battery 3gs

how to replace battery 3gs? i plugged my iphone 3gs into a 24v socket on my wagon before i realised what id done the phone shut down i unplugged it immediatly a turned the phone back on and it worked fine but i noticed the battery life depleting rapidly and now the phone wont switch back on even when i plug into itunes hopfully the battery is just fried any help would be much apprieciated\ cheers!

The battery is not user-replaceable. And using an incorrect and inapproved charger would probably void your warranty. You'll need to take or send your iPhone to Apple for service, and probably will have to pay for replacement of the iPhone, though they may just charge you for the battery. For pricing, select your country as appropriate on this page:
