Login to iCloud from iPad via Safari

Try this.

iCloud.comon a device. Using Safari with iCloud.com in the URL, you can tap and hold the Refresh icon (semi-circular arrow) in the URL bar until "Request Desktop Site" appears and then tap that. The ability to do things is much less than when logged in using a computer.

You can't. You can only log into iCloud from a desktop or laptop.

The best way to think of iCloud on your iPad is that the applications you turn on in Settings/iCloud, such as Mail, Calendar, etc. simply send to and receive information from iCloud. You use your desktop/laptop to do the same thing, but they also give you a level of iCloud management that is not available to you iPad.

So, if you send an email to yourself from the iPad, for example, it will show up in Mail on your desktop, and vice-versa. In effect, you can't "see" the iCloud web interface from your iPad.

I'm very disappointed in apple once again. The normal functions you expect as a user keeps falling short again and again. I think they need to employ some "old" guys/gals or at least have some adult supervision.

So, if I can't login to my iCloud account on my iPad, then how do I access the videos (for work, not via iTunes) that I uploaded to the iCloud Drive from my laptop?

Easy as "Request Desktop Site"

1 On the iOS device got to "iCloud.com"

2 Tap in the address bar

3 Swipe down at the center of the screen

4 Tap "Request Desktop Site"

I can't believe requesting desktop site worked! I swear I've tried that before. Question though, how do you scroll? I try swiping with one finger and it it doesn't move to the bottom of the pane, so I can't see any files/folders outside the window view.
