I lost my IPhone 4 last night! It is with the latest IOS5.0.1.
I did not register my IPhone 4 in iCloud and how can I unlock and erase my lost IPhone 4?
Please save me! I have a lot of contact in it and I don't want them to be disclosed to others.

I have the receipt of the IPhone4 and I registered the Serial Number in apple.com, can I ask Apple to wipe the data on the phone for me?
You can try but I don't think Apple can help, you have to go to the local police.
Nobody here works for Apple, we are users like you.
As of last year when I last worked for them we could NOT remotely wipe data. The device cannot be found if you have not registered it with iCloud so there would be no way to contact it.
Did you have a pass code set on the phone? If so then no one can get into it without the correct passcode. If they plug it into iTunes it will say it is not recognized on that computer and force them to erase it.
NO I don't have a password protection of the phone. I had not thought of losing it 😢
