How do I burn iDVD project to USB Flash Drive for replay

I am constantly changing attributes of my iDVD project with new specials and promos that I use on a large TV at my fitness center. In an attempt to save money on burning DVD's all the time I want to use a usb flash drive and plug and play it in my Sony Blu-Ray player that has a usb port. When I plug it in the player recognizes the file but will not play the video.

iDVD '08, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Hi

I don't use iDVD to do this.

I do in any video editor (iMovie or FinalCut) Export out as QuickTime and here I select .mpeg4 and specify H.264.

These filse I drop into a FAT32/DOS formatted USB-Memory and My PlayStation 3 copy them to it's hard disk and playback very well.
