When I get email with wmv attachments my iPhone 4 will not
open them. Any suggestions appreciated

You can't open Windows media files on an iPhone using the built in apps. There are some apps in the app store that claim to open WMV files, but I haven't tried any of them.
Have you heard of Oplayer? I ve heard it wii do it but I can't seem to find it
