Where is the Apple ID located on my MacBook Pro?

I had to change my Apple ID. I changed it on the Apple web page, then changed it on my iCloud account. On my Mac the change is showing in iTunes, but not in System Preferences for iCloud. iTunes on my iPhone & iPad are still showing the old ID. I've checked the forums, checked everywhere I can think of on my devices, and even tried rebooting each device. What should I try next?

If you open System Preferences > Users & Groups, with your account selected you have the option to change your Apple ID.

Thanks. I was able to change as you advised under User & Groups, but there's a catch . . . I still have a problem with System Preferences > Mail, Contacts & Calendars (MC&C). For some reason, the password I had set up for my original Apple ID account is still showing up here & the original password I used won't work. I went into my keychain and found a totally new password. It was 9WNSuOUOUJZv1XXZJN8ubz2xiSCyPz9NGkvUEsQ5 which is not something I would have ever created. I tried this password in MC&C, but it didn't work either. Any further suggestions. I'm about ready to pull my hair out.

Well, after much thinking, I think I've finally gotten it fixed. I just deleted the iCloud accounts on my iPhone & iPad and then reinstalled them. So, it looks like all is well for now. I probably just did the changes in the wrong sequence. Thanks for the initial lead, it was a good start. I really appreciate the Forum and all who assist.
