Hi,
I need a bit of help with my new Ipod Touch (pretty sure its a 4th gen as ive only just got it). It wont connect with my Itunes at all but is coming up on computer. Its getting a bit frustating as I would like to put songs on it.
Altough some how the apps that I have downloaded onto my Ipod (using wireless connection on the Ipod) have gone through onto my itunes.
It has both iOS 5 and iCloud on it.
Help would be greatly apprecited.

On the iPod tap Settings > Store
Make sure Music is switched ON under Automatic Downloads.
It wont connect with my Itunes at all
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Then reset the iPod > Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Just checked and all 3 items under store are on.
Ok.. follow the instructions in my last post. 🙂
I have follow the instructions and it still wont connect to it, when I plug my Ipod into the computer it brings up the autoplay window (I use windows 7), It did update any apps on itunes but its still not coming as a device in itunes. 🙂

Try restarting the Apple Mobile Device Service (AMDS) on Windows
Thanks but this hasnt worked for me either, maybe I should just take it back sort of peeing me off that its not automatic
Is there anything else I can try?? I just cant understand why it wont connect to my itunes when my ipod nano will
Try turn off virus scanner and firewall.
Cheched my firewall and its was already off (didnt realise). I have now also uninstlled and then reinstalled Itunes and its still not recognising a device. Is there anything else I can do ???
