Unable to prepare project for publishing (Code revision is wrong)

iMovie '11.

I'm exporting a 5:13 minute movie in medium format and get the message "Unable to prepare project for publishing (Code revision is wrong)". Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.

i get the same error when both trying to export project to share to Vimeo AND also when trying to export as quicktime to desktop. No special characters in name. Just won't let me export to anything without the following error:

The project could not be prepared for publishing because an error occurred. (Code revision is wrong)

If you don't have special characters in the name the only other person who has had this problem AND has written back to the Discussion Group outlining what they did, is linked here:

"Unable to prepare project for publishing" Error

In this case the iMovie user went through the project and created it brand new from scratch. That solved it for that one project. So I think it might be a corrupted bit of media in the project causing the failure. It could be an animated title, a transition, possible even a picture or sound clip that's causing the failure to export. You might try creating a Duplicate Project and deleting suspicious items from that duplicate and tyring to export it again. If it's a short project and not very complex you might be able to pin down the corrupted item very quickly.
