Can't connect WinXP to file server from internet

Hi, we've recently gone virtual in our office and I'm having trouble getting our office manager's Windows XP machine connected to the file server running Server v10.6. It worked fine on the LAN, but since she's been home I haven't been able to figure it out.

We have a registered domain/static IP for the server, and I can get her machine far enough along in the connection process for it to ask for a user and password, but it simply will not accept anything I throw at it. Even though I'm providing the same credentials as when we were on the office LAN.

Connecting the Macs remotely has been a breeze but this Windows machine is a pain. Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks.

I never did resolve the issue above, so I enabled VPN on the OS X server and now we connect that way and everything works the way it did when we were not virtual. Probably better off this way.

So... there's that.
