Hello Pat,

an interesting idea to turn your Drop box into a Photo Stream.

I have not tried it, but what you might try to do is using Apple Script to import any image that is added to your drop box into aperture.

If you know how to program a folder action in AppleScript, then you could attach a folder action to your DropBox Folder, that tells the Application "Aperture" to import any newly added items into the Aperture Library.

You can use Automator to do this also. Run Automator and select Folder Action as the workflow.

Then select the Photos section of the Library and drag out the Aperture Import Photos action. At the top of the window set the Folder Action receives pull-down to the folder you want to monitor. Then in the action set the project you want to import into, either an existing project or a new project. Set the two checkboxes for your workflow and save the action

You should be set. When you add a file to the folder you designated in the action it will be added to the Aperture project you specified.
