I can't place an order with iPhoto. Why?

I have done a Photobook with iPhone, but when I try to place he order I can't do it. Why? thanks.

I have had same issues, but was able to have a couple of orders go through. It did say "We were unable to finalize your order. Please try again". I didn't try again and I received a confirmation email.


I spoke to Apple. The pending charges will not be acted on by Apple, unless they get an order number to go with it. I had 7 charges for 3 orders. They send a confirmation for each place order to make sure your CC is valid or something. I had to call my credit card company to stop the fraud alert that was placed due to this issue. I then had someone give me the print services number 1-800-676-2775. Ask for print services in the voice menu automation ****, each time. They said they are having some server maintenance. They say about 24-48 hours to fix. I am going to keep trying as it does work intermittently.

I have been trying to order print photos today for a while and when I get to the end the message "Oops! The Store is temporarily unavailable" displayed. It is the first time that I am using this service so was wondering if I made a mistake. But seems like it is not me. Will be good if more information was given when this type of problem happen.

Becareful how many times your try to order while it's down.


I just got a call from my credit card company stating that there was unusual activity on my account because Apple was trying to charge my account each time it started the transaction.


The credit card company stated that the charges will expire if Apple didn't complete the order but not sure how long that will so mean while I have almost 2K worth of pending transactions.

I am having the same difficulty with ordering a calendar. I have tried at least four times since 9am this morning. It accepts all the information, loads the calendar and then I get the message "We were unable to finalize your order. Please try again." I need this calendar by 12/24. The shipping date was 12/20-22. I hope they get this fixed in time!
