iPhone battery stuck on 87% working as normal battery though. I let battery run down and charged it now it's stuck on 11%. And home screen is stuck on charging picture. Phone is working as normal though, but I don't know my battery percentage

Same here (iPhone 4 , iOS 5.01), stuck at 87% - but only if I charge through my PC. If I charge it in the car/wall it will go to 100.

I found an app that can charge it to 100% through the PC - Battery Doctor Plus

Now I need to see if after BDP charges to 100, regular charge will get there too. I will update.

Did you guys do a restore? It could be an app (or an old app which used to work fine before the upgrade to iOS5) is causing the issue. Uninstall all apps and then reinstall them a few at a time. You'll probably find the culprit. If that doesn't work bring it down for service.
