Q: How do I change the location of the Users Folder (Home Directory) to another harddisk
I have a IMac with a SSD as Startup-disk and a 2 TB HDD. I would like to move the User/"user" folder to the 2 TB HDD. I could not find any instruction how you can do that in Lion.
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Simply, copy the User Folder with the User Accounts you want to more to the hard drive.
Go to System Preferences > User & Groups > Unlock to make changes > Select User Account in left panel > Right-click > Advanced Options > Change path to the User Account of the same name on your Hard drive.
Search the MacBook Pro forum for a more detailed description of this procedure.
