iCal Help

I don't need my desktop computer (iMac 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo- still running Snow Leopard-10.6.8) to give an alarm. When, in iCal preferences, I click the little ? mark I get the message "Helpviewer cannot open this content". I get the same messsage if I try to go into iCal help via basic 'Finder' Mac Help and scroll, under the Home button to iCal Help.

Is this a preference (.plist file) problem?

Also, I'll toss this in for a friend who is blind and has, to date, hated Macs dues to accessibility issues but is now considering buying one:

Are there different Alarm sounds?

I have looked under the iCal prefs (Snow Leopard) but can't find any alarm sound options.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with either of these.

Beautiful! Thanks Roger. I knew that I'd seen that somewhere....

BTW I fixed my Helpviewer prob. Had to go in as another user, "forever" allow akmaiedgenet (I think ) access a couple of times then got into 2 places within the System Library that was storing the permissions, dropped them into my public box then re-signed in as me, replaced the existing files with the newly created ones (which may have become corrupted?). Then, when I launched iCal Helpviewer worked just fine.
