"You are unable to log in to the user account" 10.6 client

I have been trying to resolve this problem for over 3 weeks now and cannot find a solution to the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the setup.

Server A - Main OD directory

Server B - OD Replica

We are on a hospital network that serves DHCP to all of our client machines and the two servers above are on static IP's. I have set the dns to use our servers instead of the dhcp servers for dns. The servers above forward dns requests to the larger network if they cannot be resolved sooner.

Home folders are moved from their default location to a shared drive on Server B.

DNS on each server is set up correctly and resolves using changeip -checkhostname

I have disabled ivp 6 on the clients.

Each client machine is bound to OD.

On 3 of the 6 machines I am getting "You are unable to log in to the user account". No matter what I do I cannot get it to authenticate.

If I logon as a local user I can mount the shares I need to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

-Andrew
