My iPhone used to notify of App updates every couple of weeks, which I liked. After upgrading to the newest software, it is notifying me of App updates every day! Is there somewhere in Setting where I can change this?

The frequency of app updates is determined by the developers of the apps. Apple has nothing to do with it (other than how long it takes them to approve the apps). You'll be notified whenever updates become available.
There's got to be something in the Settings that determines how often your phone notifies you of App updates (ie. puts the little red circle over the App icon). Previously, I would get notified of like 10 updates at once, and some of them would be updates from 1-2 weeks earlier but my phone would notify me of them all at once, every few weeks. Trying to figure out what changed in the past month.
No, there is nothing in the settings that changes that. Possibly, the apps you have just got updated more frequently in the last month. Lots of developers have been releasing updates pretty rapidly because of the update to iOS 5 and then 5.0.1.
