I just got my 4S today and I'm stunned to find out that the ringtone selection on the phone is horrible. I don't want my phone to sound like a duck or a train, or my grandmothers old phone. I have a ringtone(mp3) stored on my pc and can't figure out for the life of me how to get it on the phone. I tried Dropbox, tried putting it into the itunes library, and nothing. Any suggestions?

You have to have a .m4r version of the song and put it on your itunes and transfer it to your phone.
Of course. I can see why this would make you DESPERATE.
If you just invested a good chunk of change on a new phone, the least you can do is read the manual
I have it converted into a .m4r file and it's listed in the tones section of itunes on my pc and it seems to be syncing to iphone. When I look at it on the phone, Its not under the ringtones selections in settings, its in the music folder listed as the only song there. When I play it, there is no option to set it as a ring tone. How can I fix this? And thanks for your help.
