When I tap and hold the video after I have downloaded it, it only gives me the option for quick look or cancel. I have the iPhone 4s and the software has the latest update. Does anyone know how to get these videos to save?

What is 'supported format'. I email videos from my iPhone to ipad. I keep tapping the 'save video' icon. But it cannot save. Why?
At the bottom right corner of the email there will be an arrow pointing left, there should be an option to save video. The video must be compatible with quicktime (i.e video.mov) in order for it to save on your iPhone. If its a video not compatible with quicktime you would have to save on your pc, convert to an iPhone "friendly" video format and save through iTunes
No they are videos my husband filmed on his droid cell phone. His phone can't send videos so he emailed them to me.
Of course, the Video attachment must be in a supported format in order to save to your camera roll.
