iPCU : proxy authentication not applied

Question

Hi.I&#x27;m using iPCU 3.4 (283) on a Mac.I&#x27;ve configured a payload for a Wi-Fi network with these proxy settings :- manual- hostname- port- authentication : login &amp; password.The problem is that the proxy settings are applied on the iPad except the authentication settings.Looking at the installed profile on the iPad, the authentication is on "OFF" whereas it should be on "ON" with the login and password from the profile.Is that a bug in iOS 5.0.1 and/or iPCU ?Best regards.

I understand that this is an issue with IPCU 3.4 that engineering at Apple is looking at.  There are some other threads that discuss this.  Wish I could tell you there was an immediate fix for it.😉

Thanks for your support.It&#x27;s just at the moment I have to deal with that with a very important customer that the function is broken...No luck :-(

Same problem here... and I did a little digging in the mobileconfig file and found this... nvm... that refers to the proxy type... You would think apple would jump on such a common requirement ...
