timesone is showing Taipei, but I am in Norway?
My phone is telling me that I am in Taipei, but I am in Norway, why?
iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1
Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically to On.

I've seen other posts with similar problems in other countries but I don't know what the solution is if you have your settings right. You could always try resetting your phone to see if that works (hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds until the Apple logo appears. When you see the Apple logo let go of both buttons and your iPhone will reboot.) You might get lucky 🙂

😟 for about five minutes, now I am in Taipei again....
Bummer... you might try changing Date & Time to turn off Set Automatically, then change Time Zone to the correct location (i.e., manually give it the correct location). You'll have to change it back when you move to another time zone though (but at least it should be correct while you're in Norway)
Yes, the time goes back to normal, but my weaher report i telling me that it is 22 deg in Mau-pu and my maps are in chinease i think.
Yea, turn off Set Automatically is probably a bad idea. As I mentioned, I've heard issues like this before but never saw the solution. Probably carrier related (e.g., providing incorrect cell tower locations thereby throwing off location services). Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
